The Zeek Project is delighted to announce that we are going to offer the Zeek community training next month. Usually it is a one day event offered during ZeekWeeks, but due to high demand and long waitlist of people during ZeekWeek, we have decided to offer it twice this year.
This event is going to be similar to what we offer during ZeekWeek training. It will give an opportunity to people, who are unable to attend the training during ZeekWeek for various reasons, to attend the live event with everyone else.
Registration Information:
The training is free, but registration is required. Attendance will be limited. When registering you will need to pick which training (one or both) you will be attending: Introduction to Zeek Training OR Advance Zeek Scripting Training.
Agenda for the training – 05/20/22 (All are Pacific times):
8:00am – 12:00pm – Introduction to Zeek (By Keith Lehigh, Fatema Bannat Wala)
- The Beginner Zeek training is aimed at users who have little to no experience with Zeek. We will introduce you to some basic architecture, show you how to run and customize Zeek on the command line, and give some guidance on how to do basic log analysis.
1:00pm -4:30pm – Advance Zeek Scripting (By Aashish Sharma)
- In the hands-on Zeek Scripting training, Aashish Sharma will walk attendees through the fundamentals of Zeek scripting as well as some practical exercises.
